Post-cap fee estimate uses equal-sized transactions and counts only fully post-cap closings. Exact charges may differ for the transaction crossing the cap. Confirm current state-specific fee schedule.

How to read the comparison

1. Brokerage economics: Compare retained commissions after company splits and fees, without assuming any recruiting or stock income.

2. Additional compensation: Show revenue share as a separate, conditional cash scenario and stock awards separately as noncash.

3. Total modeled value: Combine the scenarios transparently, without implying awards or recruiting income are guaranteed.

Annual cash above includes hypothetical revenue share; the commission-only comparison does not. Equity is noncash, subject to eligibility, vesting, and market value. Multi-year projections assume constant annual production, fees, and awards, with eXp onboarding deducted once. No value is assumed for training, technology, or other intangible benefits.

Interpretation: If a 100% brokerage retains more commissions after fees, this calculator should show that result clearly. Additional eXp compensation should not be treated as guaranteed or used to obscure a commission-only disadvantage.
